Nepal Futsal Entrepreneurs Association decides to re-operate futsal

 

 

The Nepal Futsal Entrepreneurs Association, an umbrella organization of futsal entrepreneurs, has decided to re-launch futsal. The association has decided to operate futsal, which has been closed since last Baishakh due to the Corona epidemic. The association said in a statement that it had decided to reopen futsal, which had to be closed as soon as the injunction was issued due to Covid-19.

In a joint statement issued by the association’s president Raj Maharjan and general secretary Madan Koirala, it is mentioned that permission has not been sought from the district administration office to conduct the game.

The association has committed to conduct games in small groups, not to compete, players must adopt all criteria, wash their hands with soap and water, disinfect the area where toilets and futsal are operated, and provide mask and sanitizers.

It is mentioned in the press release that the association has decided to operate futsal after the district administration showed indifference. Despite the government’s decision to open hotels, restaurants, public transport and other congested areas, group games have been banned.
