UML will ask 22 people crossing the floor for clarification

The main opposition party, the CPN-UML, has decided to seek clarification from 22 lawmakers who
crossed the floor in a motion of no-confidence to the prime minister. A meeting of the Central
Committee held at Tulsilal Memorial Foundation, Chasal on Monday decided to seek clarification
from 22 lawmakers who voted in favour of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, said Central
Member Bishnu Rijal.

The Central Committee meeting has passed the 10-point unity proposal prepared by the joint task
force formed for party unity. During the meeting, UML chairperson KP Sharma Oli reiterated that
party unity with Madhav Nepal was not possible. "He has rejected the report with the leaders of the
task force," Oli said.

Chairman Oli said that UML is the largest party in the parliament and would continue its activities in a democratic manner.
