Nepal has seen a sharp decline in foreign tourist arrivals due to the Corona epidemic. In the first 5 months of 2021, a total of 56 thousand 897 foreign tourists have come to Nepal.
While this number was 2 lakh 20 thousand 731 in 2020. In January 2021, 8 thousand 874 foreign tourists visited Nepal, in February, 9 thousand 146 people visited Nepal and in March, 22 thousand 450 foreign tourists visited Nepal. In May, 1,450 foreign tourists visited Nepal.
According to Clickmandu Online, the number of foreign tourist arrivals has also come down after the government imposed a ban air travel to prevent and control the Corona epidemic. By Muna Chand
