This giant red machine is the latest construction hardware being built in China.
The 4,000 ton machine can raise the height of a building by 4.5 meters within 5 hours. This mechanical monster can get the job done 20% faster compared to the last generation machine.
Located in the capital city of Hubei Province, Wuhan Greenland Center will reach more than half a kilometer into the sky with the help of this new generation technology. It is scheduled for completion in 2019.
The skyscraper will be the world’s second tallest structure after Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, and will be taller than the giant Shanghai Tower in Shanghai’s Pudong business district, making it the tallest building in China.
