BJP’s foreign affairs Chief Vijay Chauthaiwale returned today

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) foreign affairs chief Vijay Chauthaiwala, who is on a visit to Nepal, returned home today after three days. He was in Kathmandu at the invitation of NCP General Secretary Bishnu Prasad Poudel to discuss ‘expanding party relations’ between the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (NCP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Chauthaiwale, the BJP foreign affairs chief who returned home without meeting NCP executive chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal. According to the source, meeting Prachanda-Nepal would hamper the work between the Nepal-India government and would only create confusion, as the BJP is not only the head of the External Affairs Department, meanwhile, high-ranking Indian officials who came to Nepal also refused to meet Prachanda-Nepal.

The BJP had always ready to develop the relation between the two parties in the meeting Subash Chandra Nemwang, deputy leader of the NCP parliamentary party at his residence in Baluwatar, Finance Minister Poudel at Singha Durbar and Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali at his office in Singha Durbar.

He met Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba at his residence in Budhanilkantha and General Secretary Shashank Koirala at the Soaltee Hotel. Chauthaiwale, who met the leaders of the Janata Samajwadi Party (Nepal), but refused to meet Prachanda, an influential leader of the NCP, and senior leader Nepal.
