Kathmandu, 21 May: When Manisha Koirala, noted Bollywood film actress, wrote a twit praising the government for unveiling new map of the country, the Indian media have deplored her, whereas, Nepali intellectuals, academicians, professionals and youths have admired it.
They, expressing solidarity with Manisha, have commented, “We are with you, Manisha!”.
Many of them have commended Manisha’s patriotism recalling patriotic acts of her grand father late BP Koirala and father Prakash Koirala.
In response to Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali’s twit on unveiling of new map of Nepal by including the Kalapani territory, Manisha had written, “Thank you for keeping the dignity of our small nation..we all are looking forward for a peaceful and respectful dialogue between all three great nations now!”
Her twit has been re-twitted above 1500 times.
