The recent election results show that the people are not happy with both the ruling and the opposition parties. Government with two thirds majority has so far reduced its popularity. Our party cooperated with the NCP in the recent by-election on request of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. According to the consensus, each party should raise thier candidate to that area where won the election of 2074 and one would assist the other.
So, we nominated only 2 candidates in Pyuthan and Baglung among 52 places. Other places we helped the NCP. They helped us same way in Baglung but in Pyuthan they appoint an independent candidate and we were defeated by grouping from the district to the village level. It’s cheating of gentle agreement? If we did that it would hamper them a lot as well.
In a question of Limpiyadhura became the Electoral slogan in by election then he replied that this word is a trap thrown by the former Indian ambassador to Nepal and Indian brokers have promoted it through the media. In fact, Nepalese people are very serious and are always raising their voice. India’s intention has always been to swallow up Nepal, to merge it in India. They merged Sikkim, capturing Bhutan, the issue of Kashmir was to raise a referendum but now the UN is also silent too.
Federalism is imposed in Nepal. Their first attempt is to separate Tarai and engulf it. The agenda of One Madesh, One predesh was brought for this purpose. Now, not only in Limpiyadhura and Kalapani, they are troubling to the Nepalese living near the border from East Kakadbhitta to Mahendranagar.
We are not depending on the charity of India. So far, if Nepal have brought 2 from India, India have taken back 14 from Nepal. Nepal’s forests, herbs, trade, rivers, all are in holding by them. India takes a huge amount of the remittance from Nepal. During the blockade while we were in government, we decided that Nepal should not stay inside India’s claws only. Immediately after the trade agreement with China, India collapsed the government of Nepal. India has been intervening 48 times in 24 hours in Nepal. They are also intervening here within the administration. They have taken care of political separatism in Nepal at the time of difficulty. It is totally wrong that Nepal is dependent on India. This is the statement of the brokers they hired.
India did not send renowned players in SAG 2019. In fact India wants to abolish the SAARC organization and wants to bring BIMSTEC forward. India also tried to make military alliances through BIMSTEC. Through this, they want to show grandeur to their neighbors. This intention should not be allowed to fulfill but we have no animosity with the Indian people. India has been Suppressing Nepal. Opposing both India and China putting in same basket, is Indian conspiracy. We have objections to the agreement agreed by India and China on the Lipulake issue.
Our main agenda now is to save the country’s independence and sovereignty rather than visit Nepal 2020. India must leave from our territory. Not just the Indo-Pacific Strategy, we should not involve in any kind of military alliance to fulfill the ambition of large countries. Nepal is strategically important country and must remain firm in our non alliance foreign policy
