FPAS handed over Rs. 4Lakh to Reeyas parents

november :The Football Players Association of Sikkim (FPAS) on Sunday handed over a cheque of Rs. 4 lakh to the parents of Reeya Lepcha at their residence, Dentam in West Sikkim. The amount had been raised by the FPAS through the donation collection drive at Gangtok and other part of the State.
The amount in a cheque was presented by a FPAS delegation consisting of president Nirmal Chettri, Nim Tshering Lepcha, Ashish Chettri, Jasman Gurung, Kunzang Lepcha and Lokendra Gurung.
The FPAS and parents of Reeya Lepcha have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all those who have contributed for the noble cause.
Reeya, 15 years old, was a promising footballer and is presently suffering from a brain tumour. Her parents had appealed for financial support from the people as they are unable to meet the expensive medical treatment of their daughter. They would be flying to Delhi on Monday for the medical treatment of Reeya.
