Oli-Dahal disagreement on cabinet reshuffle

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and party co-chairman Pushpakamal Dahal have failed to develop agreement on the names of the ministers to be kept and to be ousted.

As the meeting between Oli and Dahal was unable to develop agreement, the next meeting is set to be held for today.

Annapurna Post daily reports that according to the Baluatar source, PM Oli has wanted to oust Matrika Yadav, Chakrapani Khanal and Bina Magar from the former Maoist Center and Thammaya Thapa, Jagat Bishwakarma, Padma aryal, Gokarna Bista, Lalbabu Pandit.

Among those names from the former Maoist Center, on the name of Bina Magar, the two leaders failed to develop consensus.

Oli had proposed either to oust Magar or change her portfolio or to oust one minister proposed by Dahal against ousting of Magar.  However, Dahal was unable to take any of the decisions.

Due to the disagreement between the two supreme leaders, the attempt of reshuffle of the cabinet on Monday was failed.
