At the invitation of President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Bangladesh’s President Abdul Hamid is arriving Kathmandu on Tuesday for a four-day visit.
According to the Foreign Ministry, this is a goodwill visit of the Bangladeshi President.
According to the Foreign Ministry statement, President Hamid will hold talks with President Bhandari. VP Nandabahadur Pun, PM KP Sharma Oli, National Assembly chairman Ganesh Timilsina, Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali, among others will pay courtesy call to President Hamid. Likewise, leaders from political parties will also call on President Hamid.
President Bhandari will host a party in honour of President Hamid.
President Hamid is also visiting Pokhara during his four-day stay in Nepal.
According to highly placed sources, during President Hamid’s stay here, power trade agreement and motor vehicle agreement can be endorsed.
