Indian authorities have unilaterally published a new political map breaching all international norms, values and laws which places Nepal’s Kalapani into its own land. According to Sugauli Treaty of 1816, Kalapani falls in Nepal’s territory and the Department of Survey has taken this issue to the higher authorities in Nepal for further action and negotiation with India.
