Kathmandu, 13 October: At the presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Nepal and China have signed 18-point Memorandum of Understanding.
Also, the two countries signed two letters of exchange.
Foreign minister Pradeep Gyawali and his counterpart Wang Yi exchanged the agreement.
As per the agreement, it has been agreed to constitute a high-level investment mechanism.
Accordingly, it has been agreed to work together in the area of disaster management.
It has also been agreed to work together in the areas of health and education.
It has been agreed to establish sisterly relations between the Kathmandu Metropolis Corporation and Nancy Province.
It has also been agreed for working together on the development of railway network, tourism promotion, Tokha-Chhare tunnel road, construction of four roads linking seaports and dry ports and infrastructure, energy sector among others.
