Kathmandu, 13 October: At the state banquet hosted in honour of Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday evening, popular Newari dishes were served. Kurelo vegetable, Kwati soup, Momo, Bara and Bhatmas Sadeko were served for the Chinese President.
Likewise, Chinese and European dishes were also served.
Finally, Ilam’s organic tea was served for President Xi.
At the state banquet address President Bidhya Devi Bhandari had stressed on construction of Kerung-Kathmandu-Lumbini railway.
Bhandari said, Nepalis have wished to see operation of Kerung-Kathmandu-Lumbini railway.
