Tea factories in Suryodaya Municipality of Ilam district have stopped operations in protest against the work procedure brought into effect by municipal authorities.
About 50 factories associated with the Suryodays Tea Producers Association ceased operations citing that green leaves were not supplied to them in line with the standards set forth by the producers.
