On September 14, Beijing time, the spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulated Nepal’s former Chief Justice Sushila Karki on her appointment as the Interim Prime Minister of Nepal on September 12.
The spokesperson noted the long-standing traditional friendship between China and Nepal, stating, “China has always respected the development path independently chosen by the Nepali people. China is ready to strengthen the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence with Nepal, enhance exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and make every effort to continuously advance China–Nepal relations.” CRI
