Government’s first priority is to provide health services in easy manner: Minister Paudel

Ranjha (Banke), Aug 9:

Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel, has asserted that providing health services to the people in an easy and smooth manner was the first priority of the government.

Inaugurating the newly constructed building of Bheri Hospital and the MRI service there today, Minister Paudel said government’s first priority and its attention was to provide health treatment services in an easy manner.

He urged the hospitals to provide services by utilizing available means and resources at maximum, underlining, “The first priority is to provide health services to the citizens. We will carry out activities in a planned manner in order to make hospital further effective and modern. I expect support of all for the same.”

The Health Minister mentioned that he has been making a plan to adopt necessary precautions and create awareness for healthy lifestyle, added the Health Minister.

Minister Paudel opined, “It is not that government hospitals are not able to provide services, it is just that they are not able to make their services effective. They have to carry out activities in a systematic way.”

“Let’s provide services to the citizens even after doing works in additional hour, the ministry will support for that”, he added. The Health Minister stressed that though the Bheri Hospital has been providing services in a systematic way than his expectation, there is necessary to make further improvement.

Assuring of increasing quotas of doctors and health workers in the hospital, he praised for operating online patient registration system.

Similarly, Chief Medical Superintendent of Bheri Hospital, Dr Prakash Thapa briefed the Minister about hospital’s condition, problems and future plan.

Health Secretary Dr Roshan Pokharel said the ministry was positive to fulfill the necessity as well as resolve problems of the hospital.
