Taskforce’s meeting ongoing to forge consensus on transitional justice

Kathmandu, Aug. 1:

A meeting of the taskforce formed by the government to sort out the bill related to transitional justice is taking place at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singha Durbar, today.

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, CPN (UML) parliamentary party chief whip Mahesh Bartaula, CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Janardan Sharma are present at the meeting.

Likewise, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajaya Kumar Chaurasiya and Chair of Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee of parliament Bimala Subedi is also present at the meeting.
Earlier, the taskforce had forged consensus in principle on the bill on transitional justice.
