Kaski, Dec 9:
Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said government should launch relief programmes for those affected by the economic downturn. The businesspersons and loanees deserve relief in present crisis, he added.
At a press meet organized by Socialist Press Organization Nepal in Pokhara today, Chairman Nepal viewed country’s economy needs recovery, so we must not stay idle. Vibrant activities are essential to revive the robust economy, he underscored.
“The entrepreneurs are hit hard now. Interest rate has upped. Those who have taken bank loan but faced slump in enterprises and businesses should be paid heed,” he underlined.
The CPN (Unified Socialist) he was leading had been prodding government to wipe out anomalies and aberrations. Increase of agricultural productions and job creation for youths are essential for building robust economy, according to him.
On a different note, he accused Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pande, of breaching agreement by excluding CPN (Unified Socialist) in the province government.
