The first batch of exhibits to be on display at the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) arrived at the China International Exhibition Center on Thursday, marking the start of the exhibition setup.
The first CISCE will be held in Beijing from November 28 to December 2, with the theme: “Connecting the World for a Shared Future.”
It is the world’s first national-level exhibition with a focus on supply chain as China is making steps to foster its first international supply chain expo as a new platform for high-level opening-up.
To facilitate the transport of oversea exhibits from international exhibitors, the event transportation team has provided “door-to-door” comprehensive logistics services from the exhibitor’s factory to the booth, ensuring a worry-free and secure exhibition experience.
Nearly 400 Chinese and foreign enterprises have already confirmed their par-ticipation in the expo, which reflects its strong attractiveness as well as that of the Chinese market. The event is also expected to attract over 100,000 visits from professional buyers and attendees, with a total exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, according to domestic news portal people.com.cn
Over 25 percent of all confirmed participants come from overseas, covering 50 countries and regions such as the US, South Africa, Mexico and France, according to the event’s organizer.
The exhibition booths will be categorized into various sections, including smart vehicles, green agriculture, clean energy, digital technology and healthy lifestyles.
Preparations for the event are in full swing. The main body of the exhibition area will be set up by November 22 and the exhibits will be in place by No-vember 24, according to the organizer.
The event will also unveil a Global Supply Chain Promotion Report, which aims to provide valuable insights and support for the sustainable and steady growth of the global supply chain.
