Impulse NGO Network Members call on Chief Minister

Gangtok, 7 November:
Impulse NGO Network, a distinguished non-profit organization dedicated to fostering socio-economic progress in the region called on Chief Minister  Prem Singh Tamang at his official residence, Mintokgang today.
During the call on, Ms Hasina Kharbhih, Chair of the Board of Impulse NGO Network highlighted the objective of its partnership with Meta Small Business Academy wherein they now wish to collaborate with Sikkim, prioritising the up-skilling of entrepreneurs and fostering socio-economic growth.
In response, the Chief Minister acknowledged the work of the NGO Network and said that the State Government would gain from the partnership in terms of empowering more women and youth entrepreneurs.
Further, the Chief Minister emphasised the Government’s commitment to women-oriented initiatives such as Aama, Bahini, and Vatsalya, along with entrepreneurial programmes like “One Family, One Entrepreneur,” designed to support and encourage both women and youth population in the state.
The meeting was also attended by Mr Amit Patro, Editor Sikkim Express, and members of the Core Committee of Impulse Press Lab.
The Meta Small Business Academy training programme has been meticulously crafted to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of how to leverage the capabilities of Meta’s suite of applications for business enhancement, with a primary focus on Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram.
