Kathmandu, Oct 20:
Foreign affairs expert Dr Rupak Sapkota has been appointed Foreign Affairs Advisor to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers on Thursday (October 19, 2023) appointed Dr Sapkota to the post. Dr Sapkota is currently teaching international relations and diplomacy in the Tribhuvan University.
Previously, he served as the Deputy Executive Director at the Institute of Foreign Affairs. He obtained his Doctorate Degree in International Relations from the Renmin University of China in 2018.
Dr Sapkota was included as a foreign affairs expert in the high-level delegation of the Prime Minister Dahal’s recent official visit to China.
