Morang, Aug 25 :
CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli has said it is urgent to combat smuggling to promote the nation’s prestige and to advance towards economic prosperity.
Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport today, the former Prime Minister said, “Smuggling is a major hurdle to nation’s development and it must be promptly contained.”
He took time to say that the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML), the two major political parties, are univocal on collaboration for strengthening good governance and economic progress.
The UML Chair said the government formation was not the priority of the UML, instead it centered on political stability, good governance, corruption prevention and the economic development.
Leader Oli also expressed his concern over ‘unseemly’ political developments taking place in Koshi Province in the name of government formation.
