Kathmandu, July 13 :
The Supreme Court has ordered the concerned authority to produce Communications Secretary Krishna Bahadur Raut, who was arrested in the Lalita Niwas land grab scam, before the court within 24 hours.
A single bench of Judge Til Prasad Shrestha passed the order following the preliminary hearing on the writ petition filed by Usha Karki on behalf of Secretary Raut.
The court has asked the defendants to come with a response as to you a habeas corpus order not be issued as demanded by the petitioner, while producing Raut within 24 hours from the date of receipt of the notice thereof.
