Morang, June 6 :
Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Hikmat Kumar Karki, has expressed belief that the operation of PIS portal would be important to enforce federal structure.
At a programme organized at CM’s office to hand over the provincial PIS portal prepared by Rastriya Kitabkhana Lalitpur on Monday, CM Karki viewed the portal had boosted morale of civil employees at province and local levels.
The portal includes details on employees’ information. It is also a comprehensive documentation on the incentives the employees get after retirement, he added.
He further argued that establishment of Rastriya Kitabkhana at province was a step ahead to enforce federal system. CM Karki urged the concerned office and employees to run it effectively.
On the occasion, Chief Secretary of province government, Dr Dipak Kafle, mentioned that running PIS portal would help in implementing federalism effectively.
