Chief of Gandaki Province Prithvi Man Gurung has said that the Nepali society is ethnically, linguistically and culturally diverse like that of the colours played in Holi festival.
In a message of greetings on the occasion of Fagu Purnima today, Gurung has said that unity amid this very diversity has stood as identity and strength of Nepalis.
Gurung has also expressed the confidence that the Holi festival would help contribute to further strengthen our national unity by providing mutual affection, goodwill and tolerance among Nepalis.
Likewise, Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Khagaraj Adhikari has expressed his greetings on the occasion of Holi festival and Toranlaha festival of the Thakali community.
Adhikari has stated that the festivals have strengthened our national unity by promoting mutual goodwill, tolerance, love and brotherhood.
He has wished that this year’s Holi festival and Toranlaha festival would bring in new vigour and excitements. In his message, the Chief Minister has stated that Nepal’s unique ethnic, linguistic, cultural and religious traditions have remained our national identities.
