Kathmandu, Sept 18 :
Senior journalist Devendra Gautam has passed away today. He was 78. Gautam died at the B&B Hospital, Gwarko, Lalitpur in course of treatment. Gautam had been living in Bhaktapur.
Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Kathmandu chapter president Surya Subedi said that the senior journalist was admitted to the B&B Hospital for treatment of pneumonia.
Gautam is the former officiating president of FNJ and the Editors Society. He is survived by his spouse and two sons.
He was born at Kamalpokhari of Kathmandu. His last rites would be conducted at the Pashupati Aryaghat today itself.
