DPRK Maintains Zero Tolerance for “Human Rights” Racket of U.S. and Its Vassal Forces

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK gave following answer to a question raised by KCNA on Friday as regards the visit to the area of the puppets by the “special rapporteur” on human rights situation in the DPRK under the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC):
The UNHRC “special rapporteur” on human rights situation in the DPRK with the disgraceful record of having betrayed her ignorance and prejudiced view on our Republic in her recent “inaugural statement” has dared reiterating unpardonable, reckless remarks tantamount to violation of our dignified system and sovereignty during her junket to the puppets’ area.
We had already made clear our principled stand that we neither recognize nor care to deal with whoever assumes the post of “special rapporteur” for that is no more than one of the minions of the U.S., and also sent a warning that should she choose to be indiscrete about her words and deeds, without the slightest care for the elementary norms of human conscience, she will be doomed to such an ill fame as her predecessors.
The fact that “special rapporteur” dared to make reckless remarks slandering our system, wandering around with the human scums who had committed the inhumane crime of dispatching contaminated leaflets and things to us in order to spread the malignant virus into our territory serves as a naked exposé of the double-standard and prejudiced character of the signboard: “championing of human rights” advocated by the UN, along with the baseness and political stupidity of the person herself.
Though it is the “special rapporteur” who took the lead in the “human rights” racket against the DPRK in collusion with the gang of puppet traitors this time, we know only too well that lurking behind her is the evil power of the U.S.
Not long ago, the U.S. Department of State gave hearty welcome to the group of the puppet traitors’ appointment of “ambassador for international cooperation on north Korean human rights” while taking issue with our “human rights” situation viciously, which clearly proves that the hostile forces’ “human rights” racket against the DPRK is conceived and controlled by the U.S.
The “human rights” racket of the U.S. and other hostile forces has nothing to do with the guarantee of genuine human rights and is nothing but the most politicized means of hostility for tarnishing the dignified image of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and for obliterating the genuine rights and interests of the Korean people.
It is ridiculous of the U.S. rife with all sorts of social evils and institutional human rights violation – racial discrimination, national chauvinism, violence against women, encroachment upon child rights , police violence and gun-related crimes – to pose as a “human rights judge”. This is the height of deception, hypocrisy, shamelessness and double standard.
The UN should no longer allow its name and mission to be usurped by the U.S. to serve its hostile policy towards the DPRK, and should strictly adhere to the principles of respect for sovereignty, impartiality and objectivity in its activities.
The U.S., driven to a corner as it failed to check the advance of the DPRK through sanctions, pressure and military threats, is now stretching out its hand for the good-for-nothing “human rights” card, which will never work on us as was shown by the past history.
The persistence with which the U.S. displays regarding its “human rights” racket against the DPRK, will only reveal by itself the absurdity and deceitfulness of its assertion that it is not hostile to the DPRK, and will only bring earlier the disaster it fears.
Defending of national rights is synonymous with the protection of genuine human rights.
The DPRK will maintain zero tolerance for the U.S. and its vassal forces’ “human rights” racket against the DPRK which is aimed at overthrowing our social system and thoroughly defend the socialist system and genuine people’s rights dear to the hearts of our people like their very lives.
