COVID-19 claims three lives in past 24 hours 

Kathmandu, Aug 25 :

The country reported three COVID-related deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The latest data on death due to COVID-19 is the highest one in the recent past. As of today, COVID-19 took 11,998 lives in the country.
Likewise, the Ministry said 444 new cases of the virus were confirmed from across the country while carrying out 4954 sample tests.
Similarly, 307 infected ones got rid of the virus during the same period. With this, the number of active cases is 4,199. And, 4,026 COVID-19 patients are in home isolation and 173 are in institutional isolation facilities while 50 others are receiving treatment in ICU. Two COVID-19 patients are being treated in ventilator support.
Meanwhile, a total of 5,597 people received vaccines against the coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
