(220806) — ASHKELON (ISRAEL), Aug. 6, 2022 (Xinhua) — A man clears an area hit by a rocket fired from Gaza in the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon, on Aug. 6, 2022. The Israeli military continued on Saturday its military operation against the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), bombing dozens of targets belonging to the militant group in the Gaza Strip, while hundreds of rockets were launched from the Palestinian enclave toward Israel.
