Kathmandu, 6 August: The Election Commission has called political parties for registration for the Province Assembly and House of Representatives elections slated for November 20. The Commission has requested all concerned to register the parties by August 16. “Registration of the political parties for the purpose of Province Assembly and House of Representatives elections will start from August 7 and will close on August 16,’ reads a statement issued by the Commission.
When submitting an application for party registration, a separate application for the member of the House of Representatives and for the member of the Provincial Assembly must be submitted separately for the 7 provinces.
