Police arrested the gang that stole gold and silver jewelry attached to the statue of Santoshi Mata in Naxal

The police have arrested a gang that stole gold and silver jewelry attached to the statue of
Santoshi Mata in Naxal Nagpokhari, Kathmandu.

The District Police Complex, Kathmandu held a press conference on Monday and informed that three people were arrested by the police team jointly deployed from Maligaon and the
premises during the investigation based on information that the lock of Santoshi Mata temple was broken and stolen at 1:00 am on July 7 th .

As soon as the information about the incident came to the temple, SP Dineshraj Mainali
informed that using various methods and techniques of investigation, the identification of the accused involved in the incident and the search operation along with the stolen jewelry were started, and the gold and silver jewelry attached to the idol was taken into custody.
He said that among those arrested is Sabina Parajuli of Gaurighat, Vishnu Pachai of Kharibot, and Siddharth Budhatho of Gaurighat.
