The message from the House of Representatives is one of four social security legislation that the National Assembly has passed a resolution to consider.
Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand moved to discuss the Social Security First Amendment Bill and the Nepal Police and State Police First Amendment Bill at Tuesday’s second National Assembly session. A resolution to consider Bill 2079 to amend certain Acts Against Sexual Violence and the Law on Amendments to Criminal Offenses and Criminal Procedure Bill, both proposed by Law Minister Govinda Prasad Sharma Koirala, was also approved during the meeting.
The National Assembly’s first session on Tuesday had seen the adoption of a law to control acid and other dangerous chemicals. The National Assembly will meet again on July 14 as scheduled.
