The meeting of the National Assembly under the Federal Parliament has started. Rajendra Phuyal, the secretary of the National Assembly, received a message from the House of Representatives requesting that certain laws pertaining to criminal offenses and criminal procedure be amended at the meeting that has been conducted at 11 a.m. It is planned to table the Drinking Water and Sanitation Bill, 2076, the Nepal Police and State Police (Operation, Supervision, and Coordination) (First Amendment) Bill 2079, and the Supervision and Coordination (First Amendment) Bill 2079.
The House of Representatives also issued a message to Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand requesting that the House consider the Acid and Other Hazardous Chemicals (Regulation) Bill 2079 clause by clause.
