Kathmandu, June 26
CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has met the youngest climber Shambhu Tamang to get information about his health condition.
Chairman Prachanda reached Nepal Cancer Hospital at Harisiddha on Sunday morning to
inquire about Tamang’s health condition.
Tamang, a resident of Lisankhupakhar Gaonpalika-2, Sindhupalchowk, was able to write his
name in the Guinness Book of World Records by climbing Mt. Everest at the youngest age in 1973.
Prachanda also praised Tamang’s contribution to the country and said that he would take
initiative to assist on behalf of the government for his healthcare.
