The Maoist section was unified by four leaders, including Omprakash, who left the Biplav party

Kathmandu, June 23

The Communist Party of Nepal, headed by Netra Bikram Chand Biplav, has lost four leaders, including Omprakash Pun.

Omprakash Pun, a former member of the Politbeuro and in-charge of Mahakali, Shankar
Bahadur Khadka, Dal Bahadur Dhami, and Ramesh Pariyar, a former in-charge of Darchula and Kanchanpur, have all quit the party.

In his letter of resignation, he stated his intention to leave the party in order to pursue personal and group projects aimed at dividing and uniting the Maoist component.
