Unified Socialist holding Politburo and Central Committee meetings

Kathmandu, June 21

The Unified Socialist is holding meetings of the party’s Politburo and Central Committee in
Kathmandu on June 24 and 25.

According to Kritu Bhandari of the Central Publicity Department, the meeting will review the
local elections as well as the program that will be implemented across the country to help the party’s candidate win the upcoming House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly
elections.

The contemporary situation of the country will also be discussed. The Politburo meeting will
also discuss the issue of maintaining the ruling alliance together until the next election, as well as the possibility of the party contesting the election on its own.
