Kathmandu, June 17
Companies that provide ride-sharing services must now register with the Bagmati State
Government’s Transport Office.
The Bagmati state government is expected to receive permission by mid-Chaitra to include ride- sharing businesses such as Tootle and Pathao in the economic bill.
The registration price for a firm that transports passengers for hire using just two-wheelers
through the electronic information system (AP) has been set at Rs 25,000, while the charge for a company that transports passengers for hire using four-wheelers has been set at Rs 50,000.
The company’s registration price has been set at Rs 70,000, and it offers both two-wheelers and four-wheelers for hire through the app.
