Kathmandu, May 24
Students are protesting, claiming that a teacher at Chabahil’s St. Lawrence College has abused them.
SSP Sudip Giri, Chief of the District Police Complex in Kathmandu, told the news that the police had arrived when children became agitated, claiming that a teacher at the school had misbehaved with them.
The protesting students also shouted anti-college and anti-teaching sentiments. According to the students, the teacher promised to help them if he did what he was ordered.
”We’re talking to parents and teachers to figure out what occurred,” SSP Giri said.
