JSP wins in Narainapur Rural Municipality

Kathmandu, May 21

Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) candidate has won in Narainapur Rural Municipality of Banke
district. JSP candidates Ishtiaq Ahmed Shah and Jayanti Devi Srivastava have been re-elected as chairman and vice-chairman.

Shah defeated his nearest rival Ram Chandra Maurya of the Nepali Congress by a margin of
1,352 votes. Shah got 5,037 votes and his nearest rival Maurya got 3,685 votes.
Similarly, Srivastava defeated Atikun Nisa of Nepali Congress with 207 votes. Srivastava has been elected with 3,879 votes while Congress candidate Atikun got 3,672 votes.
