Kathmandu, May 19
Nepali Congress candidate Raj Samaj Chaudhary has been elected as the chairman of Kailari Rural Municipality of Kailali district.
He defeated CPN (Maoist) candidate Lajuram Chaudhary by more than 4,000 votes.
Similarly, Bhagwati Kumari Chaudhary of Nepali Congress has won the post of Vice-Chairman.
She defeated the CPN (Maoist) candidate Laxmi Satgauwa Tharu by getting 10,484 votes.
