Nepali Congress wins in Geruwa Rural Municipality of Bardiya

Kathmandu, May 17

Nepali Congress candidate has elected as chairman in Geruwa village municipality of Bardiya district. Congress candidate Zaman Singh KC won with 7,698 votes. His nearest rival, Bishwa Bahadur Tharu of the CPN (Maoist Center), received 6,620 votes.

Similarly, Laxmi Kumari Chaudhary of the Nepali Congress was elected as the Vice-Chairman while Lila Chaudhary of the CPN (Maoist Center) was defeated. Laxmi Kumari got 7 thousand 153 votes while defeated Lila got 6 thousand 583 votes.
