In Kathmandu, a shuttle bus service will carry foreign flight travelers during the election with fare of $300

During the local election on May 13, both public and private vehicles will be closed. On this day, international flights will operate normally, while domestic flights will be halted.

In Kathmandu, a paid shuttle bus will be run in consideration of their service. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, such a service would be provided in collaboration with Nepal Tourist Transport Entrepreneurs.

In collaboration with the tourism police and businessmen, the Nepal Tourism Board would give such a service to flight travelers, taking into account the difficulties of transportation between the airport and the hotel. The bus will travel between Tribhuvan International Airport and various hotels, as well as between hotels and the airport. A fare of Rs 300 has been set for such a bus.
