Kathmandu, May 9

Public service delivery by the District Administration Office (DAO) in Parbat will remain closed for four days from Monday in view of the local level election on May 13.

The public service delivery has to be suspended for some days due to the lack of human
resources as the existing employees are being deputed to election related works, states a
notice issued by Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Sapkota.

As many as 1,176 government employees are mobilized in the election in the district alone. The local administration has already banned the sale and distribution of liquor in the district from May 10 (night) till election day.
