Kathmandu, May 4
Muktinath Development Bank Limited’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Pradyuman Pokharel, has been re-appointed.
On Tuesday, the board of directors re-elected him as chief executive officer for a second term (CEO). He was the bank’s CEO from May 15, 2018, to May 15, 2022, and his second term will begin on May 15, 2022.
Pokharel, who has more than three decades of banking experience, has held several executive roles at Nabil Bank and Mega Bank Nepal. On December 4, 2016, he became the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Muktinath Development Bank. He is the President of the Nepal Development Bankers’ Association and a member of the Nepal Management Association’s Executive Committee.
In addition, the bank has made arrangements for free withdrawals from ATMs of any other
bank in the Visa network across Nepal using the ATM card of this development bank, in order to boost digital transactions.
Prepaid dollar cards, mobile banking, QR codes, online loan applications, online account
opening, internet banking, remittance deposit in the account, and missed call banking are all examples of services that may be utilized from home without needing to visit a bank location.
