Meeting of the ruling coalition ended without any conclusion

Kathmandu, April 18

The meeting of the ruling coalition to discuss the issue of seat distribution in the local level
election has ended without any result.

The meeting has been postponed till this evening, said Ramesh Malla, personal secretary of
CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Prachanda.

Top leaders of the ruling alliance including Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and members of the election preparation and monitoring committee led by NC senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel participated in the meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The ruling alliance’s today’s meeting was expected to finalize the candidates for the
metropolitan and sub-metropolitan cities from the center itself.

Sunday’s meeting was also inconclusive.
