Minister Regmi discharged from Bir Hospital

Kathmandu, April 18

Minister for Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, Uma Regmi, who was undergoing treatment for head injury at Bir Hospital since Wednesday, has been discharged from the hospital on Sunday.

Minister Regmi had accidentally injured her head while sleeping. She had a blood clot in the
outer part of her cortex, according to her MRI report. After being discharged from the hospital, Minister Regmi said that her health was improving.

Doctors involved in the treatment have advised Regmi to rest at her residence for one week, according to Himang Bhandari, the minister’s secretary.

Minister Regmi thanked all doctors, nurses, hospital administration, and others involved during her treatment.
