Kathmandu, April 17
Five people have been killed in a jeep accident in Waling, Syangja.
The jeep (Ga 1 Ja 7399) heading towards Waling from Dadakharka overturned at 10 this
morning. Five people, including a child, were killed in the accident, said Syangja SP Rajiv Basnet. The jeep had met with an accident on the way to Waling from Dandakharka, police said.
The deceased are yet to be identified.
According to the District Police Office, Syangja, there were 11 passengers in the jeep. Six injured have been taken to Gandaki Medical College in Pokhara for treatment.
The jeep has fallen about 200 meters from the road.
