Dr. Bijay Poudel, Deputy General Secretary of the CPN (Unified Socialist), claims that the
government has adequate funds to finance foreign imports for the next six and a half months.
This was expressed by Yuwa Sangha Nepal’s Deputy General Secretary Poudel at a party membership program held at the party’s central office in New Baneshwor on Monday.
He also stated that Nepal was not experiencing an economic crisis as previously reported.
According to Deputy Secretary-General Poudel, some businesses in the industry should be given the option to recapitalize their loans in order to mobilize more cash. He stated that if the government gives a recapitalization facility to indebted businesses, the businessmen would not be blacklisted and will be able to continue doing business. Poudel, the Deputy Secretary-General, urged all Nepalese residing abroad to bring their collected funds in dollars to Nepal but claimed the country’s economic situation will be handled.
According to Deputy Secretary-General Poudel, the nation’s crisis would be addressed if households with relatives overseas were able to deposit 5/7 hundred dollars in the bank
without being able to obtain resources.
