The Morang Trade Association’s ‘Trade Expo-2078’ has come to a conclusion. The exhibition, which began on April 1 and closed on Sunday, had been a huge success.
The expo’s sales were Rs 400 million, according to Nabin Rijal, chairman of the Morang Trade Association. According to him, about 250,000 people attended the event. He stated that the majority of the deals involved autos.
Chief Minister of State 1 Rajendra Rai announced at the closing ceremony that the state
government will move on with the project to develop an industrial display site. Chief Minister Rai stated that the exhibition has helped to revive Covid’s economic troubles and that the fair would assist to increase the national capital through expanding output.
The shortage of display space, according to the chairman of the trade group, Rijal, is a concern.
He has stated that despite receiving land for the exhibition location, he has been rejected
for permission to work. Hikmat Kumar Karki, the former Minister of State 1 for Internal Affairs, stated that his party will support the industrial display location.
The corporation has managed the property in Biratnagar-3 to the trade organization and
industrial association Morang for the exposition location in 2075 BS, according to Mayor of the Biratnagar Metropolitan City Bhim Parajuli.
