The government has issued new guidelines for Nepalese people with individual work licenses traveling to eight labor destinations in Ukraine and Russia’s neighboring countries. The new regulations apply to labor destinations in and surrounding war-torn countries including Romania, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Albania, Slovakia, and Moldova.
According to the Department of Overseas Employment, the majority of persons who have gone on visit visas in the name of foreign employment, as well as those who travel for work with individual labor licenses, have been left stranded, tricked, and forced to pay additional money.
